Day Hospital and Pre–Professional Guidance and Training Department
The Day Hospital and Pre–Professional Guidance and Training Department conducts the following activities:
- Plans admission, program and rehabilitation/habilitation processes for patients of all ages;
- Provides all types of modern therapeutic approaches available at the Hospital;
- Conducts follow–up examinations with specialists and consultants and provides treatment with intensive habilitation stimulation without distancing patients from their family and the social environment;
- Conducts video EEG monitoring;
- In addition to kinesiotherapy, electrotherapy is also used, as well as therapy in sports halls and on the sports field within the Day Hospital;
- Educates parents and guardians through counseling services regarding treatment within the family and the patient’s living environment;
- Provides pre–professional orientation and professional training;
- School–age patients are offered an educational program alongside therapeutic program. They are enrolled into daily classes, which follow a special curriculum at the Miodrag Matić Elementary School for Children with Cerebral Palsy and the regular school curriculum at the Dr Dragan Hercog Elementary School.
- Provides a program of pre–professional guidance and professional training for patients with specific levels of disability.
