Psychology Department
Activities of the Psychology Department
The Psychology Department provides outpatient clinical examinations and consultations with a psychologist. Our services are available to children and adults with cerebral palsy and all other neurodevelopmental diagnoses, as well as to their family members. All children with a history or symptomatic risk for developmental deviations will be referred by our doctor for a preventive psychological examination. We also recommend that other parents, if they have concerns or doubts about their child’s development, undergo an evaluation by our team of specialists at our institution. We also provide psychological assessments, counseling and treatment for hospitalized patients and those at the Day Hospital.
Our psychologists specialize in the following activities:
- Comprehensive psychodiagnostics of early psychomotor development from the first months of life;
- Psychological assessment of intellectual, social–emotional development and adaptive behavior;
- Consultative and psychological counseling treatment for children, adults and their families;
- Diagnostics and psycho–rehabilitation treatment assisted by digital technology.
